Joel’s blend of engineering and management skills brings a unique perspective to projects and our operations division, bridging technical expertise with strategic leadership. Since obtaining his master’s degree in structural engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, Joel has over a decade of experience in engineering design, construction administration, and operations management. Prior to joining Elevated Construction in early 2024, he served as the operations director for the civil engineering division of a national design firm and remains active in the Texas real estate scene. At work, Joel is passionate about excellent communication, increased efficiency, and understanding what makes people tick. After hours, he relishes his role as a husband and a dad, loves sports, books, and tacos (in no particular order), and can most often be found outdoors: taking pictures, chasing fish and game for the freezer, and scanning the skies for birds.
